INFERTILITYInfertility by Author Maggies Jones This book guides the reader through the possible causes, tests, and treatment options available to those with infertility concerns. I found it easy to follow with not too much medical jargon. Infertility by Author, Prof. Carl Wood & Prof.Gabor Kovacs These two professionals have put together an easy to follow guide that addresses questions relating to infertility. The chapters cover issues from, why haven?t I got pregnant? how do I make eggs? Why are sperm test necessary, to adoption. It is straight to the point, formatted in a questioning style, and contains diagrams. First published in 1996, therefore some content may of changed.
DEPRESSIONFeeling Good by Author Dr David Burns An excellant self-help book for those suffering from depression. Not the sort of book that you would read in one setting. It has practical exercises to help you recognise patterns of behaviour that increase your depression, and techniques to turn those around. I highly recommend this book and have done so to a lot of my clients.
ANXIETY/PANIC ATTACKSChose to be Happy by Author Wayne Froggatt This is a very useful tool for anyone who has low to high anxiety levels. It gives you a step-by-step guide to help you respond to stressful situations in a more realistic way. I believe the title says a lot. Change Your Thinking by Author Sarah Edelman This is a great handbook for those who are stuck in their negative thoughts. It includes worksheets, practical exercises, and positive affirmations. Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway by Author Susan Jeffers The author speaks of her own experiences with fear, and how she discovered her powerful voice that gave her life. If you fear being alone, making decisions, or changing jobs, then this book is a useful tool to have. RELATIONSHIPSMen are from Mars, Women from Venus by Author John Gray This author writes about the difference between men and women and why we find it difficult to relate to each other. I found it humorous at times, but also very factual and informative. A good read. Why Men Dont Listen and Women Can't Read Maps by Authors Allan and Barbara Pease I really liked this book because I always smile when I'm reading it. It has been written by a husband and wife who have experienced the many challanges of being in a relationship with the opposite sex. Well researched with a touch of humor from both sides. ANGERDealing with Anger by Author Frank Donovan "I am an angry man". These are the five words written by the author in his personal note to the reader. I felt an immediate openness and understanding coming from the author who knows what it is like to be an angry man. The book offers support, solutions, and guidance to men who are experiencing anger, and women who live with it.
